Coach Jeff Silverman
Coach Silverman is from Cranford, NJ. He has been coaching in South Florida Collegiate League since the inaugural year. As an assistant in the inaugural year he help guide the SF Huskies to a runner up finish. He will be the field manager and 3rd base coach. Currently, he is in his 4th year coaching at Coral Glades High where he works with infielders and manages the defense. Previously he has coached with the SF Huskies, Florida Pokers and Elite Squad (SF Elite). He teaches high school Business/Reading and resides in Coconut Creek, FL.
Coach Sean Farrell
Sean is from Huntington Station, NY. After graduating from Walt Whitman HS he attended Briarcliffe College where he was a draft and follow by the NY Mets. After getting released by the Mets he continued his playing career on several independent Leagues and in 2007 he took the job of Pitching Coach at Suffolk Community College where we went to the JUCO College World Series in Tyler, Texas. In 2012, he moved to South Florida with his family with the hopes of better opportunities in baseball. In his short time in South Florida, he is regarded as one of the top pitching instructors. With his velocity program, private lessons and team training his players have received significant amounts of athletic scholarships at the D1, D2 and Juco levels.
Coach Jay Judson
Coach Judson is the associate Head Coach at Coral Springs High School. Jay Judson played high school baseball at the Franklin School in New York City where he was a 2 time all state third baseman. As a senior in high school, Judson was drafted in the 5th round by the Milwaukee Brewers. Instead of signing with the Brewers, Jay accepted a baseball scholarship to play at American University in Washington D.C. He spent 2 years at American University where he was the first freshman to start in the programs history.
After his sophomore year Judson was forced to transfer because of a family illness. Jay returned to his home state of New Jersey to be closer to his family and played at Rutgers University to continue his college career.
After playing two years at Rutgers University, Jay was drafted by the NY Mets. He played in the NY Mets minor league system for 4 years and spent one year in Rookie Ball with the Newark Co-Pilots. He was then promoted to Double A where he spent 3 years playing 3rd base with the Jackson Mets.
Jay began coaching his coaching career with Bergen Community College in Paramus, N.J. as an assistant head coach for 2 years and was then promoted to Head Coach for the next 4 years. He led Bergen C.C. to the regional finals 3 years in row which were the only years Bergen went to the regionals. He then took the head coaching job at the Dwight School in Manhattan, N.Y. where he won 3 State Championships in 5 years.
Dr. Gary Bofshever
Dr. Gary Bofshever has been a long time resident of Coral Springs since 1976. He graduated for Coral Springs High School in 1981 and attended the University of Florida on a Baseball Scholarship. Dr. Bofshever received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta Georgia and has maintained and operated Bofshever Chiropractic Center since its inception in 1990.
Dr. Bofshever's main interests are the treatment and prevention of sport injuries with a special interest and background on throwing injuries and proper biomechanics.
He is married to Joy Bofshever and has 3 children, Alexandra, Jake and Zack. Besides being the physician for many local high schools and youth sports leagues, Dr. Bofshever coaches High School baseball, Tackle football and Travel Baseball all within the local community.
